The Handyman

Written and performed by Seamus O’Rourke.

Poetic, chaotic & funny, Hugh Spotten is being ousted out but, he’s not one for lying down. He has to make the world SEE SENSE.

In this brand new one-man-show – Seamus O’Rourke’s most recent creation, Hugh Spotten - pulls asunder, his rural Irish life. He was the man who got things done - Caretaker - Tea Maker and Grave-Digger. (With his own crow-bar). But now, that's all about to be taken away. 'There's no need for the like of that - when you have the likes of this other’... or so he has been told. Why have Community Spirit, when you can pay €3 for a Coffee.

In this mix of Rhyme and Reason... O’Rourke manages to re-immerse himself in the fun of theatre and storytelling.
